CLAIRE GORMAN

Claire Gorman is an award-winning director who lives on Bruny Island in Tasmania, Australia.

In 2009 she directed, filmed and co-edited her first feature documentary, 'First Love' at the age of 22. First Love went on to have a theatrical release in Australia in 2011, and was selected for a number of film festivals around the world, winning Best Documentary at the X-Dance Film Festival (USA) where Claire also picked up the award for Emerging Filmmaker. The film continues to be distributed world-wide.

Following the success of 'First Love', Claire directed her first music video ('Go Don't Stop), working with Mat. McHugh of The Beautiful Girls. She then went on to shoot a tour in the US with Kid Mac (aka Macario De Souza) for the hit tv series,'The Crew', as well as another music video ('She Goes Off'). Back in Sydney, she produced a 'behind the scenes' piece for the multi-award winning film, Fighting Fear. And went on to work alongside legendary surf filmmaker, Taylor Steele, as DOP and editor on an artist based project in Byron Bay ('La Casa').

More recently, Claire has completed her second feature documentary, 'Bigger Than Me'.

DAVID BRICENO

David is a Sound Engineer from Caracas, Venezuela, who has been involved in the entertainment industry for more than twenty years.

Following a degree in Sound Engineering, David has had the opportunity to take his talent around the world, from working in one of the most prestigious theatres in Latin america (Teresa CarreƱo Theater ), to Audio Post and ADR Editor for HBO (Latin American Group), House engineer for recording studios in Caracas, Miami, San Francisco and Australia and Foley artist and sound FX editor for cartoons and mini series at the ABC.

More recently, he has spent time touring the globe with more than a hundred bands from all nationalities and music backgrounds as a Tour Manager or Sound Engineer.

Claire and David are now working on a number of projects together including a feature film focusing on women's big wave surfing, 'Bigger Than Me'.
